After many days heading up north, it was time to try the opposite direction. We had booked a tour via my company for a day trip to Margaret River, an area famous for Australia wine. It was again more driving, but this time in a more comfortable and big bus. The group make up in this tour was very different from the outback tour; a more "mature" group, to put it politely. And probably around 40 people in total. Wasn't as fun as our outback tour, but it was ok, I guess.
Can you see Denmark in Australia? If I had known earlier, I would have just booked our return flight directly from Perth to Denmark, instead of going via Singapore as that seemed to be a much loooooonger way ;o).
Australian shrubs.
At a vinyard of various Australian wines.
Close up.
The bigger picture.
Can you see a family of curious barn owls peeking out?
At the Eagle Heritage. The guy was supposed to be the brother of a known Australian actor. At first, I thought maybe Paul Hogan...but it was actually someone I didn't know.
Graceful eagles. Actually, if I could choose to be an animal, I would choose the eagle :o).
Swooping down for food.
Here's a big one.
At Mammoth Cave.
Really big inside.
Going deeper.
Lighthouse at Cape Leeuwin.
Standing tall.
We couldn't go up it, unfortunately.
Meeting point of 2 oceans.
See it?
NSEW...or NEWS.
What used to be the world's longest wooden pier until recently.
No time to walk to the end and back.

Anyway, that's the end of posts on our Australian trip! Hope you had enjoyed the pictures :o)!
