While at a halal Thai restaurant in Spore for dinner... .
Martin (to waitress): I'll have this dish (points to menu).
After 5 mins... .
Waitress: I'm sorry sir, but we ran out of pineapples. Would you like to choose another dish instead?
Martin: Ok, I'll take the sweet-and-sour beef.
After 5 mins... .
Waitress: I'm so sorry sir, but we don't have anymore beef :o(.
Martin: Hmm...right. Ok, I'll have sweet-and-sour pork then.
Me: Erhm...bunsi, we're at a halal restaurant...
Martin: (processing information)
Me (helping him): That means they don't have pork... .
Martin: OHH!!! Chicken then! Chicken. Sweet-and-sour chicken.

And he gets his chicken... .
